Your Top 15 Recipes from 2015 and what’s ahead for 2016!
As the New Year starts, I wanted to thank each and everyone of you. If it wasn’t for you, Mom’s Bistro wouldn’t exist and I wouldn’t get to share my love of cooking and saving money with others who share the same passions as me. So THANK YOU!
A lot of great things happened in 2015. D.J. and I got married, D.J.’s practice is doing great and I couldn’t be more proud of him. We took a trip back to both North Carolina AND Florida to visit family, and D.J. and I got some date nights – just the two of us. Every year I spend with D.J., our relationship grows more and more, and he has encouraged me through thick and thin, helping me stick at it, and keep going even when I feel like my world is crashing down – even if its just because I am upset that my soufflé didn’t rise – he’s there for me, and Anthony. And not to mention how much Anthony has grown up over the past year, it just amazes me.
Not only in life, but from when I started Mom’s Bistro in 2012 to now, I have learned so much, and I am still learning so much every single day. 2015 has been a great year for this blog, and I owe it all to YOU! I set a goal for myself in 2015 to post a monthly meal plan with a grocery list and recipes every month in 2015 and I did that! I loved all of your comments on every months menus letting me know how much you’ve loved the recipes, and how your family has saved money on groceries. Hearing your stories, has inspired me even more!

2016 will be filled with delicious, kid-friendly recipes, and budget meal plans to help save some money – Lord knows we could all use an extra few bucks in our pockets. I am very, very excited to keep sharing my passion for food with other Mom’s and Dad’s. In 2016 not only do I want to share a monthly budget friendly meal plan with you, but also during the football season, I will share a game day recipe every Sunday, and monthly breakfast recipes that will inspire you to get up out of bed and cook. Also, because The Soprano’s is our absolute favorite show of all time, I will be sharing Italian inspired recipes from The Soprano’s Family Cookbook.
