Weekly Meal Prep

Preparing meals for the week on one day helps make mealtime easier. Prepare these items ahead of time for each week and place prepared items in labeled ziplock or tupperware containers.

Here’s what you can prepare ahead for the week:

  • Cook onions and peppers for Philly Cheesesteaks Burgers. When ready to eat, heat cooked veggies in the microwave
  • Prepare BBQ Chicken Kabobs, and brush with BBQ sauce. Place on a sheet tray and cover with foil.
  • Prepare Loaded Baked Potato Salad 2 days ahead of time.
  • Prepare baked beans, and place in tupperware container. When ready to serve, place in slow cooker on low until warmed through, and then switch to warm.
  • Cook quesadillas, and keep wrapped in foil in the fridge or freezer. Heat in the toaster oven or microwave until warmed through when ready to serve.
  • Make a double recipe of salsa, and keep in a tupperware container in the fridge. Use this week and next.
  • Cook pasta for Mac & Cheese. Keep drained and cooled pasta in a ziplock bag.
  • Prepare whatever fruit you can for the week, and place in labeled ziplock bags.
