First Day Kids Vitamins Review + Discount Code

With all of the choices on the market today for Kids Vitamins, trying to figure out which ones are best for your family can be tricky. Many of them are filled with sugars, and too many vitamins (that’s actually a thing), for little bodies. Over the years, we have tried countless brands of vitamins, some my kids liked, some they didn’t, and most of them, not really a quality vitamin. So, when I came across First Day’s Kids Essential Gummy Vitamins, I knew that I found a winner!

First Day Vitamins

What stood out to me most when I first looked at First Day was the fact that their vitamins are made with fruits and vegetables. Their Kids Vitamins are made with a blend of: Apple, Kale, Broccoli, Spinach, Carrot, Parsley, Beet, Green Cabbage, Blueberry, Raspberry, Strawberry, Tomato. First Day Vitamins are also made with a minimal amount of sugar – only 2 grams. I also really liked that they were allergen free. There are no peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, soy, fish, shellfish, wheat, corn or milk!  And, if it’s important to you, First Day Vitamins are also organic and vegan. We think that they taste like candy, too! If you’ve ever tried the Annie’s Bunny Gummies, these taste just like them.

First Day Vitamins

Like I mentioned above, I really like the fact that they are made with REAL fruits and veggies. A stat that really struck me was that 93% of kids don’t eat enough vegetables! That’s a big number. First Day Vitamins were formulated around what we most commonly lack, filling in the gaps, and supporting; growth and development, brain function and immunity support.

“Every ingredient we use has a purpose. Each nutrient is designed to fill a gap in our everyday needs, and our blend of 12 organic fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants and phytonutrients to promote health. We take organic produce straight from farms, dry them, and blend them into our gummies. It’s that simple.”

First Day also offers Multivitamins for Women, Men and Teens which are all formulated around what we commonly lack. For the Teen’s Kickstart Vitamins, zinc and magnesium are added, as they are commonly missing in our diets.

First Day Vitamins

As I was reading the FAQ on First Day’s website, one of the questions was “can some vitamins be really bad for you?” I had honestly never really thought of this, and that the fact that some vitamins could be causing more harm than good. First Day had a great answer to this question, that made me feel even more confident in my choice of multivitamins for my family.

“Remember the old adage “more isn’t always better”? Many vitamins today use cheap chemicals that our body’s can’t absorb in amounts that are much higher than we actually need! In the long term, taking these sorts of vitamins can be harmful to health because our bodies have a tough time getting rid of the excess. We’ve consciously formulated our vitamin so that your children get exactly what they need with the finest ingredients.”

As we all navigate through COVID, and all of the constant changes that come along with it, taking daily vitamins is even more important. Getting to the store can be difficult sometimes, and we don’t always to remember everything on our grocery list. If we remember our grocery list at all. And, for higher quality vitamins, like First Day, sometimes we end up having to go to a health food store to find them. With kids, and busy schedules, this isn’t always an option which means that picking up vitamins, tends to be forgotten. First Day offers a really great subscription program that is extremely convenient! AND.. if you have more than one kiddo, or will need multiple pouches of vitamins each month, they offer a discount for that, too.

Your first order comes with a refill bottle, and a 30 day supply (60 vitamins) of multivitamins. Each order after that comes in a pouch to refill the container. If you just want to order one bottle to try it out to decide if a subscription is right for you, First Day has that option, too. If you’re on the fence, and not sure if First Day is right for you and your family, they offer a 45 Day Money Back Guarantee that says “We’re confident this is the best vitamin you’ll ever give to your kids. But we understand you may be skeptical. So give it a try…worry-free! Have your kids try a gummy (sneak a taste for yourself too). If you’re still not happy, just send it back.” Shipping is free, too!

  1. Have you tried Hiya? It’s similar but better imo. Better nutrition for kids.

  2. Dealing with a picky eater is not that simple. I never had any problems with my other kids except for my youngest daughter will not eat hardly anything. She will not eat anything with any kind of veggies and hardly any fruits. So all I can do is try to introduce new foods while continuing to feed her what I know she will eat. Good thing a friend of mine tagged me to an FB post from First Day. I tried one bottle and she ate the gummies like regular candies. Now we are on our 4th bottle and on subscription. It’s easier and more convenient this way. I do not have to keep reminding myself to add to cart! Good job to those who are behind this brand. You made my life so much easier!

  3. I’ve been trying everything under the sun for my 7 year old. But nothing seems to be working. I just hoped he will outgrow this because I have been trying to cook good nutritious meals but my son has a thing with textures. I realized that his growth and development has been affected in so many ways including his behavior. I found a post about hidden hunger on FD’s page and said, okay I will try this one time I have nothing to lose! My kid liked the gummies, he frequently asks for more so I need to keep the bottle away! He is appetite is improving and I could tell he is becoming more focused and energetic. I believe this product helped a lot and I have been swearing by it for months now.

  4. My almost 7 year old has been taking these for 2 months and we have seen a dramatic improvement in his temperament and behavior!

  5. My son is 4 and he has been taking them for about 2 weeks. We see a change in his behavior and over all moods. I am hoping it continues to get better. This is the most promising vitamin thus far and the only vitamins my kid likes.

  6. I got the gummies for free from a friend whose son didn’t like them. My daughter liked them and I am glad to see improvement in her behavior.

  7. I didn’t want to trust gummy vitamins for my kids because it might destroy their teeth. But these are the only vitamins my kids are willing to take so I just make sure they brush and floss after. Good thing FD gummies have less sugar.
