Vegetable Peeler

This Vegetable Peeler is my FAVORITE kitchen tool, and I recommend it to everyone. It makes peeling veggies, and slicing hard cheeses so easy, and it cleans really nice. They come individually or in a set of 3.

This spatula is awesome. It spreads, slices and scoops which makes it perfect for making a PB&J or bagel with cream cheese. But it also works really great to scrape the sides down in a blender or food processor. I find myself using this spatula more than any other one – the soft side is good for stirring, and the hard side scrapes up the brown bits on the bottom of the pan without scratching it. I have 3 of these.

Mini Food Processor

You really don’t need anything bigger than this. I use my mini food processor to make salsa, guacamole, salad dressings, puree veggies to sneak into foods, and to grind my own chicken!

Mini Waffle Maker

I love this waffle maker. It’s a great budget-friendly option, and makes awesome waffles every time. It works really great for Keto waffles too – the cheese doesn’t stick at all! It comes in different sizes, colors and designs too, so it will match any kitchen.

Batter Whisk

batter whisk

This whisk is awesome because it mixes together thick batters without over-mixing, and has these really cool fins on the side to scrape up batter on the side of the bowl. This is a great gift for a beginner baker, or for kids who are starting to cook. The whisk is light weight and can be put in the dishwasher.

Ground Meat Chopper

This has got to be one of the best kitchen gadgets out there! I use my Meat Chopper whenever I am cooking ground meat on the stove. It breaks up the large chunks of meat without scratching the bottom of your pan. It chops up canned whole tomatoes amazingly well too.

Bench Scraper/Pastry Cutter

If you do a lot of chopping, having a Bench Scraper or a Pastry Cutter sitting next to you is going to be extremely helpful with efficient meal prep. The bench scraper allows you to use your knife and the scraper to scoop up all of the fresh food you just prepared, and transfer it to a bowl, or your pan without getting your hands dirty. And as a pastry cutter, it can be used to divide doughs up, and to cut and measure dough in baking.

I have a Microplane in a utensil drawer, one on my counter, and I have one that gets served with the fresh block of parmesan cheese when we have pizza or pasta! It has so many uses from zesting citrus, grating ginger or garlic, grating hard cheeses, and so much more! This Microplane is only $15 comes in many different colors, and is worth every penny!

Kitchen Shears

A good pair of kitchen scissors that are kept in the kitchen and used just for food are essential! These kitchen shears are good for so many kitchen tasks from big to small like removing the backbone from a turkey or chicken to trimming fruits and veggies. They also include a bottle opener, a nutcracker, and the blades can be used to scale fish!

Citrus Juicer

This Citrus Juicer is where it’s at. It gets every last drop of juice out of the lemon, and doesn’t make a lot of mess when you squeeze it. The lemon size does small oranges, limes, key limes, and of course lemons. My favorite thing about this juicer is that even with harder citrus, it squeezes it easily, without hurting your hands.
