Gather & Prepare Ingredients
To Make this recipe, you’re going to need:
– hot dogs, cut into bite size pieces
– crescent rolls, separated into triangles, and cut in half lengthwise into two triangles
– American cheese, cut into thin strips
– olive oil
– garlic powder and poppy seeds (optional)

Assemble Pigs In A Blanket
Now it’s time to wrap your pigs up in the blanket. Lay a triangle half on a flat, clean surface, and top with a couple thin strips of American cheese. Put hot dog piece on long piece of crescent roll, and roll up towards the tip. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment and repeat with remaining hot dog pieces. If desired, brush crescent rolls with a little olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder and poppy seeds.

Bake & Serve
Cook in a preheated 375 degree oven for 12 minutes. Remove from oven and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

 1 tube crescent roll dough
 4 hot dogs, cut in half
 8 slices, American cheese
 1 tbsp olive oil
