Finding something to wear that is comfortable and fashionable at the same is difficult for me since I am on the shorter side at barely 5’0″ tall, and I am very petite.  Last fall, I was offered an amazing opportunity to work with prAna and I fell in love from the first moment.  Before I even, received my clothes.  I feel in love with the fact that their pants come with a “short” option – for people with little legs, like me! So when I was asked to sample prAna’s spring line, I immediately jumped on the opportunity.

prAna has clothing for any occasion, and their spring collection showcases it perfectly!  prAna’s clothing line, and the companies philosophy suits my personality and our lifestyle so well.  While prAna clothing is made to accommodate any adventure, but first and foremost, their clothing is mindfully made – meaning that they are sustainable, and they support fair trade practices.  prAna has one core belief and that is to give back more than we take from the world.  Learn more about The Sustainable Clothing Movement and Why Organic Cotton Matters here.  And it doesn’t stop at sustainability, the generous folks at prAna are giving back to you as well, and are offering an exclusive 15% off promo code!

With spring soccer upon us, I wanted to choose something that I could wear to Anthony’s soccer games, and then be ready for work in too.  So, I chose the Quinn Dress and the Lizbeth Skirt.  And let me tell you what, that Lizbeth skirt pairs perfectly with my Devan Henley Hoodie from last fall!  The two together make the perfect spring outfit.

First, let me tell you about the Quinn Dress.  Have you ever wanted an outfit that makes you feel beautiful as soon as you slip it on?  That’s what happened to me with prAna’s Quinn Dress.  I ordered mine in black, but now having worn it, I want to have one in every other color too.  In the warmer weather I tend to wear skirts and dresses more than shorts and pants.  What I really like about the Quinn Dress is how versatile it really is.  The dress is made for any occasion.  You can dress up this dress to wear it out for dinner, or just enjoy how great you’re going to feel and look in the dress just by slipping it on.  The fabric is super soft and it has a built in bra-shelf with removable cups which are very modest, really eliminating the need for me to wear a bra at all.  I wore my dress to pick up Anthony from school one day, and all of the other Mom’s commented on how cute the dress is, and how comfortable it looked, and then wore it to his soccer game on Saturday and then threw a sweater over my shoulders and continued on into work,  I couldn’t deny any of the things the other Mom’s were saying, they were all true.  This dress is cute, comfortable and extremely versatile.

Now to the Lizbeth Skirt.  I love clothing that feels super soft like it’s been washed 100 times straight out of the box, and that’s exactly how the Lizbeth skirt felt.  This skirt is made with hemp and recycled polyester.  This skirt fit a little big, so I needed a belt, but the belt tied the outfit together.  The skirt is very comfortable, and because of the simple design matched with other items in my wardrobe as well.  Especially my Devan Henley Hoodie that I got from prAna last fall.  I know I mentioned it once already, but it really does look super cute together!  I picked the Lizbeth Skirt because it’s the perfect skirt for work.  It has pockets which may not seem like it’s a big deal but for me is pretty much a requirement for work.  And again, like the Quinn Dress, is so easy to dress up with a nice blouse or sweater.

More than ever, people just like you and I are looking for ways to spread love positivity in our communities.  One way we can do that is to make sure that every purchase we make and give has a positive impact on our planet.  prAna offers organic, hemp, sustainable and fair trade items so that consumers feel great about the things they wear and the items that they give.

Being a Mom, I don’t get to treat myself as often as I like, but when do, I like to treat myself to something that makes me feel good about myself, and it makes me feel good that I am supporting others as well.  So take advantage of this great offer from prAna and “Treat Yo’ Self” this Mother’s Day.
