is for you!! Sir Bananas Banana Milk and Chocolate Banana Milk
Until I was contacted by
Sir Bananas, I didn’t even know that Banana Milk was a thing. I just assumed that there was regular cows milk (1%, 2%, whole), soy milk and nut milk. I’m not really a big milk drinker unless it’s almond milk (mostly a texture thing… I know I’m weird), but I love bananas, especially in smoothies or banana bread, and is the perfect combination of it all – texture, taste and it’s good for you… and the Sir Bananas .. O. M. G! Chocolate Banana Milk
Of course, because of my chocolate addiction, I tried the
Chocolate Banana Milk first, and was in love. The milk was bubbly just like traditional chocolate milk, but the flavor is out of this world. It tasted like a chocolate dipped banana! You’re not overwhelmed by bananas, since the milk is a 80/20 ratio of milk to bananas, and has just the right amount of cocoa. But Anthony jumped right on the regular Banana Milk. He was excited that it was cows milk (we usually drink almond milk and cows milk is a special treat), and knew that he was getting something special. After slurping down the first glass, he asked to try the Chocolate Banana Milk and was even more impressed.
Most of the time, our flavored milks and such are sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup, which by now we all know is terrible for us. I love that
is made with REAL sugar, and has no other garbage in it like artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors, and, it is gluten-free and carrageenan-free! Sir Bananas
I really like how the container is so colorful and fun! The monkey and the pictures on the side make me think of a cereal box, and really makes me want a big bowl of honey nut cheerios with some of this milk!
Adding cheerios to the grocery list now…
We wanted to take our
game a step further and make something with it. At first, Anthony and I thought banana bread, but I wanted to do something more fun. Banana Milk
We always add yogurt and bananas to smoothies, so my first thoughts were a smoothie! It made it soooo easy, and was everything in one container. I dropped some frozen fruit into the blender with about a cup and a half of banana milk, and let the blender do its thing! The texture was
to die for, and wasn’t too thick like just plain ol’ bananas make it. I don’t even think I got a taste before Anthony drank the whole thing! He’s a big smoothie fan, and this made him very happy.
Remember the banana popsicles we had as kids? They were one of my favorites, and with the Banana Milk, I wanted to recreate them. My Mom got me some homemade popsicle molds that were perfect for making one of my childhood favorites. To Anthony it seemed like such a treat, when really it was just some healthy, Banana Milk that he was probably going to drink anyways.
We missed one popsicle here… Anthony decided drinking it was better!
To make Banana and Chocolate Banana popsicles, I simply poured the milk into the molds, put the tops on and stuck them in the freezer. Anthony loved helping with this, and kept checking the freezer every 20 minutes to see if they were done! I left our popsicles in the freezer overnight. It was a great after lunch snack, especially with the warmer weather we’ve been having!
Over all, I
really enjoyed this product, and so did the rest of our family. If you and your kids love bananas and milk and chocolate, you need to head to the grocery store to pick up a couple cartons of Sir Bananas. I can’t stop drinking it, and I’m not even a milk fan! I am really happy to see something on the market that I trust giving to my family. Sir Bananas Banana Milk and Chocolate Banana Milk really exceeded my expiations and I am excited to get some cereal!
I received my
Sir Bananas Banana Milk in exchange for my honest opinion and have not been influenced in anyway. I really love this Banana Milk, especially the chocolate!
