So Simple and So Delicious! Easy CrockPot Pulled Pork

Incase you didn’t know by now, I LOVE pork!  It’s so versatile, and super easy to cook – especially in the CrockPot like this CrockPot Pulled Pork.

This recipe is very basic and very simple to make.  I kept this one simple without a lot of flair because I had a few different recipe in mind that needed pulled pork, and figured why not make one base of meat and then add in my own spices/sauces.  And sometimes, simple is best.  This recipe is so moist and so delicious, you’ll find yourself eating it straight out of the crockpot!

Like I said, I wanted to make a couple different things with this pork.  The first thing I wanted was just simple Eastern North Carolina Style BBQ, and I mixed a little apple cider vinegar with some hot sauce and dig in.

D.J. prefers has BBQ pork with a tomato based (traditional) BBQ sauce, so that’s how he made his.  I also wanted to use whatever was left for a quick Colorado Green Chili.  You can also make Carnitas with this pork too!

Ohhhh so, so many options!

Ingredients:

1, 4-5 lb pork butt
2 cups chicken stock
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp fresh garlic
1 tsp onion powder

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in the base of CrockPot.

Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Using two forks, shred pork.

Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce, or use in another recipe.
